I’m feeling the love – the love for autumn, that is. Favourite time of year, no contest. Part of that sense of joy is sartorial due to a long affinity with boots (furry), scarves (soft, bright) and tights (woolly), but mostly the glow comes from an appreciation of cosiness – and I don’t mean anything to do with the H-word (hygge, the warm glow of a Danish concept that no one in this country had heard of before 2016 but which was hijacked to the point of obsession last winter).
