By day, Ryan Pias wheels and deals for his job in medical device sales. At night and on weekends, he’s Chef Pias, rolling out dough with his mattarello and hosting groups for pasta-making classes. His grandmother made Italian dishes for him growing up, inspiring his love for cooking. This passion inspired Ryan and his wife, Kate, to place extra attention on the kitchen during the renovation of their 1937 Kansas City, Missouri, home.
“I wanted a very functional kitchen, but we also wanted the space to be really pretty,” Ryan says.
