The Africa Diaspora Forum (ADF) said it was concerned about xenophobic utterances on social media, especially towards Zimbabweans affected by the cancellation of the Zimbabwean Exemption Permit (ZEP). MATADOR: A tornado ripped through the northern Texas town of Matador this week, killing four people and injuring several others while damaging at least a dozen buildings, officials said. LONDON: Britain’s National Crime Agency (NCA) said yesterday that it had arrested an Egyptian man suspected of co-ordinating the smuggling of thousands of people across the Mediterranean from north Africa to Italy. PARIS: Six people remained in a critical condition and one person was believed missing yesterday, one day after a blast ripped through a street near Paris’s historic Latin Quarter, officials said. About 50 people were injured in the blast, which set buildings ablaze and caused the front of one to collapse on to the street. Nablus: Israeli forces yesterday demolished the home of a Palestinian accused of killing a soldier in the occupied West Bank. This week, at least 17 people have been killed in the territory, in Israeli military incursions or in attacks by Palestinians or Israeli settlers.
