The NSRI urged boaters, paddlers and sail boarders to download its app, which allows NSRI Emergency Operations Centre (EOC) controllers to watch your progress on a computer screen. “When you face an emergency, pressing a button on the app tells NSRI and Maritime Rescue Co-ordination Centre (MRCC) that you have an emergency situation and gives us your exact position.
