14 MILLION SCRIPTS Matric exam marking under way POST REPORTER THE marking of matric exam papers has begun. The recruited markers would be working under strict Covid-19 compliant centres until January 22, when they are expected to conclude the marking process of about 14 million scripts. The education department said 181 marking centres had been prepared. Brandon Pillay, a community activist and family friend, said Reddy experienced flu-like symptoms on December 5. “She messaged me that she was unwell and she then went for a Covid test.
