Blea Tarn can be found in the centre of the Lake District, nine miles from the nearest town of Ambleside and 13 miles from its closest train station in Windermere. Katie Lloyd is the Care Coordinator and Facilities Manager at Bradford Cat Watch Rescue and Sanctuary (BCWR). She founded this not-for-profit rescue in 2006 when another rescue’s closure left 25 cats at risk.
