Disillusion with existing sailing instrumentation, especially for racing on smaller boats, led to the formation of this Atlanta, Georgia-based start-up. The founders, a pair of Melges 24 and F18 sailors, initially canvassed opinion from sailors in classes from foiling dinghies to ocean racers, then studied existing instruments across the board from the America’s Cup to those developed for small boats.
