At the dawn of the decade, Luke had been in SA for four years, during which time he’d managed to make it to the top of the leaderboard as head chef of La Colombe, securing Eat Out Restaurant and Chef of the Year awards and 12th place on a little list known as the San Pellegrino World’s Best 50 List. No big deal.
