The upcoming Online Safety Bill is hoped to include an offence of cyber-flashing, with the support of the Prime Minister. Quizzed at a recent parliamentary committee, Boris Johnson said, ‘I don’t care whether flashing is cyber or not, it should be illegal.’ It’s been on the statute books in Scotland since 2009 and two years ago Texas made cyber-flashing a $500 criminal offence.
