Relaxing holidays, hot yoga and doing pottery are all lovely ways to unwind. However, if you’re already pressed for time, a faster fix might be required.
Madhavi Nawana Parker, a mental health expert from Liptember Foundation, describes these small wellbeing practices as micro-moments, because some take as little as 45 seconds.
“The first thing is to focus on progress over perfection,” she says. “When we start any kind of fitness practice, we should go, ‘You know what? I’m just going to try some stuff and I’m going to try it a little at a time and then I’m going to slowly start to build my wellbeing muscles.’”
