Crostini with Walnuts, Blue Vein Cheese and Onions SERVES 4 INGREDIENTS 2 red onions 1 tbsp sugar 100ml port (or red wine) 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar 250g soft blue vein cheese 100g cream cheese Freshly ground black pepper 50g walnuts 8 small slices of sourdough bread 1 handful of radish or alfalfa sprouts (or cress) METHOD 1 Peel and thinly slice the onions.
