DEATH Eddie Mekka has passed away at the age of 69 at his California home on Dec. 4. The actor was most well-known for playing Carmine Ragusa on the hit ’70s and ’80s sitcom, Laverne & Shirley. The brother of the star revealed he had been ill in the days leading up to his death and had been hospitalised after suffering from blood clots.
