Chanel Miller, known as Emily Doe during Turner’s trial, will release Know My Name at the end of the month, and in the book writes about the brutal January 2015 attack, its aftermath and her recovery. In her research, the 27-year-old writer and artist from San Francisco, California, gained access to court documents and witness statements she’d not seen during the trial.
