Anne-Cecile Comar, co-founder of the architecture studio Atelier du Pont, took on the challenge, and together they conceived a space rebuilt using island clay, reclaimed wood, marès (the natural rock of the islands), ceramics, and also local textiles. The estate, which spans 130 hectares, includes spaces for yoga, dance, cooking classes, a pool carved into the rock, music, a forest gym, regenerative agriculture, ceramic workshops… The architectural project, respectful of the original structure, preserved fundamental elements of Menorcan character such as large beams, arched openings, vaulted ceilings, whitewashed walls, and wall-embedded drainage channels.
