Bruce Weber (Pennsilvania, 1946) has had a wild life. His picture Elizabeth Taylor and Bonkers the Bear, taken at Thousand Oaks, California, in 2005, encapsulates at its best the two great passions –photography and animals– through which he has made his spectacular, unstoppable, frantic way through life.
