Best buy Less than £9500 Suzuki Celerio SZ2 IT WOULD BE easy to dismiss the Celerio and its quirky looks. But never judge a book by its cover; the Celerio makes a superbly well-rounded city car choice. Suzuki’s 1.0-litre three-cylinder petrol engine is a peach. It packs a modest 67bhp but, because the Celerio is light, it’s easily strong enough for town work and doesn’t even feel too out of its depth on the motorway. CONNECTED CARS COULD detect and report potholes in the future so repairs can be scheduled, according to Highways England. Use of drones to survey traffic hot spots and report incidents has also been tabled. Both suggestions come from a new Highways England report on the future of UK roads and how they will work with connected and driverless cars.
