The recent announcement by Volkswagen that it’s partnering with Tesco to speed up the rollout of electric vehicle charging points, made me think. While it will greatly help reduce the current shortage (sorry) of charging facilities, I couldn’t help pondering how, in little more than 100 years, the electric car has come full circle.
