Last December, I was kindly gifted an organic fruit and vegetable Christmas box from Organibox (organibox.org), although in the interest of full disclosure, I ate the produce before Christmas! The box was filled with clementines, red cabbage, garlic, lemons, limes, potatoes, carrots, Brussels sprouts, parsnips, onions and kale. The fruit and veg arrived in paper bags, in a cardboard box, and I even received a mesh bag from sustainable, plastic-free, zero-waste, eco-friendly store Green Island (greenislandco.com).
