All my memories are in Spanish, and it’s the language I’m most comfortable with. So when it comes to acting, I still translate a lot. My dad’s Guatemalan, my mom’s Puerto Rican. I’m scrolling through my Twitter feed to assess how bonkers the news is that day—regular bonkers or extra-special bonkers—and I see a news graphic of generations listed in order by birth year: the Silent Generation, the baby-boomers, millennials, and post-millennials.
