Whether it’s the day your sister was born, the day you took a toy from your brother or the first time you fell off your bike, it’s likely that you were probably around the age of three or four when you had your first memory, as most of us don’t tend to recall memories before this age. Some adults, however, may recall memories from the age of two, while others may not remember anything until the age of seven or eight. Even the memories we have between the ages of three and seven are patchy; of the events we experience during childhood, we’ll only remember a few – and even less as we age.
