A holiday to Malta is on the itinerary for the irrepressible Jessop clan in this week’s instalment of BBC1 sitcom Here We Go. But while the trip, of course, spirals into chaos on screen, Katherine Parkinson, who plays neurotic mum Rachel, had a ball filming on the picturesque Mediterranean island.
‘We had lovely weather and ate some really good ice cream!’ smiles the actor, 47, whose character is at the heart of the action as the adventure doubles as an opportunity for Rachel and her brother, daft Robin (show creator and writer Tom Basden), to reconnect with their estranged father, Michael (guest star Robert Glenister).
