Joe Layton, who has now left his role as Coronation Street villain Mick Michaelis, is to tread the boards for his next project. The actor is starring in a UK tour of Lost Atoms by Anna Jordan for the theatre company Frantic Assembly. According to the theatre company’s website, the play ‘explores how memory impacts the way we look at love, and asks what makes a truly “successful” relationship’. The production opens at Leicester’s Curve theatre on Monday 22 September and finishes at the Lyric Hammersmith in London on Saturday 28 February 2026, with stop-offs in York, Liverpool, Coventry, Colchester, Salford, Worthing, Southampton and Bristol.
