Glastonbury MUSIC FROM 5PM, BBC1, BBC2, BBC4 & iPLAYER After getting rave reviews for her 2023 appearance on the Pyramid Stage, multi-award-winning singer Raye returns to Glastonbury. She’s due to perform just before tonight’s headliner, legendary US rocker Neil Young. After negotiating a deal with the BBC, it’s not clear how much of his set will be broadcast, but hopefully we’ll get to see the 79-year-old and his band, The Chrome Hearts, play tracks such as Heart of Gold and Rockin’ in the Free World. The Power of Parker LAST ONE COMEDY 9.30PM, BBC1 It’s safe to say that Martin (Conleth Hill), Diane (Rosie Cavaliero) and Kath (Sian Gibson) aren’t naturally gifted criminal masterminds, so things aren’t looking good for them in this week’s finale when they need to pull off a heist to get themselves out of a tight spot. Fortunately for us, their ineptitude makes for hilarious viewing, from Kath’s (mostly) Hollywood-inspired code names to Diane ending up driving a getaway vehicle that tops out at 30mph and has a group of pensioners sitting in the back. RACE TO THE TOP The recent fifth series of BBC1’s reality competition Race Across the World was amazing. The contestants clearly enjoyed the challenges and it was lovely to see their reactions, especially when they came across the lions while on safari in India! Jane Harper, Preston TAKING COMMAND ITV1’s Shardlake has been brilliant. Arthur Hughes has been superb as lawyer Matthew Shardlake in the drama set in the Tudor period, and Sean Bean has given a commanding performance as Thomas Cromwell, bringing the cunning nature of the statesmen to life.
