Knowing full well that can only mean his son, Thomas, is the sire, Caroline realises she must come forward with the truth – even though it will certainly mean the end of her marriage. When a stubborn Steffy refuses to budge on her decision to jettison Ivy from Forrester Creations, the Aussie beauty decides to take matters into her own hands. To that end, Ivy visits her uncle Eric and asks for his help in convincing Steffy to reconsider her harsh stance. Eric (John McCook) laments that he is very sorry that his niece was terminated but he does not feel he should be challenging Steffy’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) authority. After Maya confesses to Rick that she would love for them to have their own child, he responds that he is not surprised by the request since he has witnessed his wife staring longingly at mothers pushing their babies in strollers. Rick asks if Maya has been consulting with adoption agencies but she replies she would never take such a step without discussing it with him.
