After being threatened with deportation, a distressed Ivy immediately approaches Carter for legal advice. He confirms that the US Immigration Service has every right to send her back to Australia. Ivy is upset and depressed about leaving behind her new way of life in the USA, as well as Liam. Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) suggests that once Ivy (Ashleigh Brewer) returns to her homeland, she can apply for dual citizenship, but points out the process may take months, even years to tackle the red tape. Ivy returns to her office and is too distracted to concentrate on work. Although no concrete reason has been given for why Maya has resigned as head model at Forrester Creations, the strong public perception is that she was sacked for being outed as transgender. As a result, the fashion house has experienced a major backlash which is having a huge impact on their sales. Eric (John McCook) meets with Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) about how to handle the crisis. He reckons the negative feedback will eventually die down and Forrester’s image will stay intact. Eric isn’t as optimistic and orders his son to convince Maya (Karla Mosley) to be reinstated. Since Caroline’s return to Los Angeles, Ridge has noticed his girlfriend seems depressed and withdrawn. Her inability to walk since her car accident has obviously affected her creativity and she has not been inspired to sketch any designs. Instead of pushing her, Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) decides to be patient and allow Caroline (Linsey Godfrey) to express her thoughts and feelings when she is ready. Throughout Nick and Sharon’s ongoing fight for custody of their little girl, Faith has been the forgotten one. Amid all the arguments, her wants and needs have been put to one side.
