My, oh my! If you don’t find something riveting in this issue of tvplus, we definitely did something wrong! When we liaise with the soaps about the stories that will be featured, they (usually) give us screengrabs from a specific episode to use to underpin and strengthen the story. This issue I couldn’t stop staring at the heartwrenching pictures of Thenji (Nonkululeko Mbataha) in The Black Door (p21). What she has gone through is such a sad reality of the times that we live in, and here a photo speaks a thousand words. Her anguish is tangible.
