Spaghetti and meatball sauce
Serves: 4 Prep time: 60 minutes
Ingredients
600g beef mince
Salt and black pepper
1 onion, grated
Handful sage, finely chopped
Handful parsley, finely chopped
1T garlic, crushed
1 egg
½ cup parmesan cheese
½ cup sunflower oil
1 onion, finely chopped
2 tsp garlic, crushed
½ cup red wine
1 can tomatoes, chopped
2T tomato paste
2T sugar
Method
1. In a large bowl, mix mince, onion, sage, parsley, garlic, egg and parmesan cheese. Season with salt and pepper. Shape into medium-sized balls. Place in the refrigerator for 10 minutes.
