Within this box the flies can be arranged into smaller groups by size, colour, weight or any other characteristic that helps you find the fly you want when you want it.
Characteristics to consider.
• Water type: streams, rivers and stillwaters. Boxes for specific venues.
• Season: spring, summer, autumn, winter
• Fish species: trout, grayling, salmon, pike, carp, saltwater.
• Fly type: dry-flies, wet-flies, nymphs and streamers.
• Insect species: mayfly, caddis, stonefly, midge, terrestrial.
• Life cycle: lava, pupa, adult or nymph, emerger, cripple, dun, shuck, spinner.
• Weight: unweighted to extremely heavy.
• Size: small to large.
