A confession. Over the years I’ve watched a LOT of episodes of Bargain Hunt, Antiques Roadshow, Cash in the Attic, and Lovejoy. While this might at first seem like a grotesque waste of life, I have picked up a few things. For example, I’ve learned that certain objects are at their most valuable when they come as a pair, such as matching carved bookends, vintage gold cufflinks and things like that.
