On a clear day it’s possible to see seven kingdoms from the top of the Isle of Man’s highest peak, Snaefell: England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland, Isle of Man, Heaven (the sky) and Neptune (the sea). The island may only measure 30 miles by 12 miles, but its diversity makes it feel much larger. There are five ‘Marilyn’ hills to bag, if that’s your thing, while the coastal walk around Spanish Head has exceptional views and interest. The grand grassy ridgeline of North Barrule and boggy hillsides of Sartfell and Slieau Ouyr also deserve exploration. Add in woodland glens, basking sharks and four-horned sheep, and you‘ll find there's something for everyone on the Isle of Man.
