This route shows off the very best of the Lincolnshire Wolds AONB: short sharp climbs, medieval villages, the Viking Way, and ‘big sky’ views – it has it all. Many people think Lincolnshire is flat.OK, much of it is, especially to the south and east of the county, but this route has three good hills, including a sting in its tail, to prove that, while it may not be mountainous, Lincolnshire isn’t all flat. This great run starts, and more importantly finishes, at a fantastic village pub – the Bluebell Inn – which is at the centre of a number of loops giving route options from 8-40km.
