It’s November 2025, and the two are at the entrance of Dib Bangkok, Thailand’s first major museum dedicated to international contemporary art. Yantrasast, 59, built the museum, which opened in December, by converting a two-story industrial warehouse into a space so full of light it practically glows in the afternoon sun. Dib will serve as home to a storied but until now unseen collection that mixes top Asian artists with Western stars like Pablo Picasso, James Turrell, Louise Bourgeois, Anselm Kiefer, Frank Stella, and Damien Hirst.
