In March 2013 T&C descended on the desert of Scottsdale, Arizona, to photograph a collection of spring looks inside Frank Lloyd Wright’s winter retreat and studio, Taliesin West. The legendary architect designed hundreds of homes around the country (one of them, an oceanfront gem in Carmel-by-the-Sea, recently sold for $22 million), but this wonder had a special place in his heart. Originally constructed in 1937 on more than 500 acres, Taliesin West also served as the base for the Taliesin Fellowship, Wright’s community of apprentices (it later evolved into the School of Architecture).
