There are 29 new names in our annual 100 Most Influential People in Golf list this year, illustrating what a tumultuous 12 months it’s been for the game.
Those new names include tour stars such as Rose Zhang and Viktor Hovland, who’ve both had breakout years on the LPGA and PGA Tours, Chad Mumm, who brought golf to Netflix, and David McLay Kidd, who has designed the best new course in Europe. They also include Jimmy Dunne, who brokered the LIV deal with the PGA Tour, and Mohammed Bin Salman, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, whose bottomless pockets are financing the biggest change the professional game has ever seen.
