In Inside Out, 11-year-old Riley’s brain was run by just five emotions. These were Joy, Sadness, Fear, Disgust and Anger. Despite their differences, the feelings teamed up and learned how to work together to help Riley cope with her day-to-day life.
Now, in Inside Out 2, things are changing inside Riley’s brain. She’s a teenager, so headquarters – located in Riley’s brain – is going through some big changes. A new emotion, Anxiety, has rocked up, and it looks like she’s not the only one. She’s joined by Envy, Embarrassment and Ennui (not feeling satisfied. “Ennui” is also the French word for boredom).
