SAVING AN INJURED SEA TURTLE
A turtle that was hurt by plastic pollution has found a new home in Scotland. The sea turtle, which has been named April, was found in netting in the Maldives, in the Indian Ocean. April was too badly injured to return to the wild, so she was flown to Sea Life Loch Lomond where she has “settled in brilliantly”.
CELEBRATING A 100TH BIRTHDAY
On 26 November, pupils, staff and parents from Ropsley CE Primary School in Lincolnshire, England, celebrated a neighbour’s 100th birthday. Edwin Crow, who waves as children make their way to school, was given cards and presents. The group sang Happy Birthday before releasing 100 biodegradable balloons.
