On 30 August, ParalympicsGB athlete Jonnie Peacock won a joint bronze medal in the 100 metres sprint. Both he and Johannes Floors, from Germany, recorded a time of 10.786 seconds. “I didn’t think you could share medals in sprints,” Peacock said. “There’s two ways to take it and, being positive, a 15-year-old me would have been so happy with this.” Felix Streng, also from Germany, won gold. Peacock won gold in this event at the 2012 and 2016 Games, and his time this year was quicker than both of those. “I think the world record is going to be broken very, very soon,” he said.…
