From 24 August to 5 September, Tokyo, Japan, is due to hold the Summer Paralympic Games. The games should have taken place last year but, like the Summer Olympic Games, were put off because of the pandemic. This is why even though it is 2021, the games are known as the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games. The Paralympic Games are one of the biggest international sporting events in the world, bringing together the best athletes with disabilities.
