On 22 February, the 2020 Netball Superleague season began with all 10 teams involved in exciting games at Arena Birmingham, England. It’s the biggest netball competition in Britain, and includes teams from England, Scotland and Wales. They each play 19 games between February and June with the hope of reaching the Grand Final on 4 July and lifting the Superleague trophy.
Manchester Thunder are the current champions, and they beat Wasps, from Coventry, England, by 62-55. In another all-English match, Team Bath won against Loughborough Lightning 72-58, and London Pulse just managed to beat Scottish team Strathclyde Sirens 53-51.
