How much does it cost to visit a farm?
Open Farm Sunday is free, but a trip to an animal or crop farm that allows visitors may range from £5 to £10 for a young person. There are usually cheaper family deals or discounts for groups.
What animals could I see?
All sorts. Chickens, cows, goats, horses, pigs, sheep, turkeys and even alpacas and ostriches live on farms. You could also see birds of prey, donkeys, ducks, rabbits and pheasants in the fields and lakes around farms.
What other benefits are there?
