Who do you love?
My mum, brother, sisters, nephews and nieces, and, of course, my husband John.
As a child, who did you want to be like and why?
I used to be inspired by strong characters on TV, like doctors and barristers.
When you were 11 what did you dream of doing?
Being a doctor.
What do you do now?
I’m a heart surgeon. I’m also a professor at Swansea University Medical School, and a Council Member of The Royal College of Surgeons of England.
