Cricket World Cup
Cricket fans are in for a treat in 2019. The World Cup takes place in England and Wales from 30 May to 14 July, with matches in Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, Chester-le-Street, Leeds, London, Manchester, Nottingham, Southampton and Taunton. England are one of the 10 teams playing, and current champions Australia (pictured below) are hoping for a record sixth victory.
Road World Championships
Head to Yorkshire in September to catch the world’s elite cyclists on the roads. It’s the first time the competition has been in the UK since 1982, when it was held in West Sussex. It will also be the first time men and women race against each other, in a new event called the team time-trial mixed relay. The world championships are free to watch.…
