In 1947, the first Ferrari car, called the 125 S, came tearing off the production line. Designed by racing driver Enzo Ferrari, the vehicle was unlike anything seen before. Italy, where the Ferrari was designed and built, suffered terribly during the Second World War, which lasted from 1939 to 1945. Enzo Ferrari’s factory was bombed twice, but just two years after the end of the war, the Ferrari 125 S was revealed.
