“ On 8 June, my school and I took part in an athletics event called the Borough Sports competition, where you run, throw, sprint and jump. I did the 600 metres first and it was a tight race. When it comes to eating your greens, is there one that you just can’t get enough of? According to a recent survey, broccoli is the UK’s favourite vegetable. Crumbling castles, ancient ruins and grand old stately homes – when it comes to heritage sites, the UK certainly has its fair share. However, the older they get, the harder it is to make sure they’re in good condition. In fact, some experts don’t think we should be trying to preserve them at all. HumOn Android (Free) Can anyone make music? The creator of this app, from South Korea, thinks that they can, but what if you can’t play an instrument? As you may have guessed from its name, HumOn relies on the easiest form of music-making: humming. To use it, all you have to do is hum a tune into your phone’s microphone.
