Jousting, the ancient sport that sees two brave knights try to knock each other off the back of their horses using a lance, is making a comeback. It used to be the sport of kings and aristocrats, but now among its fans is a different type of ruler – a high-flying computer games businessman called Jason Kingsley.
Kingsley founded his computer-game company, Rebellion, with his brother Chris, nearly 25 years ago. When he and his brother were teenagers, they’d play fantasy role-playing games together, imagining themselves in the world of wizards and knights.
As students, they started making their own computer games for fun, and after graduating they decided to have a go at making a business of it. Within six years, the company had £1 million in the bank.…
