Erika Knight launched her new Wool Local yarn earlier this year. We love its soft yet woolly feel, and most of all its Yorkshire roots - from sheep to skein, this Bluefaced Leicester-Masham wool blend is sourced, spun and dyed within a 50-mile radius.
To accompany her new yarn, Erika has put together a range of elegantly modern patterns, designed by herself and Emma Wright. ‘Fettle’ is a cropped jacket with concealed pockets, worked edge-to-edge using two strands of yarn held together. ‘Grimshaw’ is a sleeveless top with a softly gathered yoke, and the ‘Brodrick’ cardigan has a long back section featuring asymmetric cable details and deep, open side vents.
