That’s why actors, activists, and theatre fans Sis Thee Doll and Anna María founded Thee Open House Project, a community resource dedicated to making shows more accessible for marginalized artists and audiences. Sadly, access to books is another barrier that keeps people from reading new stories, and things like book bans and library closures don’t help.
