Winch Design studio is the creator of the new 80-metre superyacht currently under construction at Nobiskrug, the German yard. Delivery is scheduled for 2025. Nobiskrug were chosen for their piercing vision, always facing sustainability, and construction quality that has always marked their custom yachts. This one in particular was ordered through long experienced broker Chris Cecil Wright, who will also be supervising construction phases. The first 70-metre steel Amer is under construction, a customed yacht ordered by a European customer. A production chain was set up by Permare Group for this unit, nearly 100 per cent composed of important Ligurian companies. La Spezia Optima Studio was entrusted with the project, the beginning of a fruitful cooperation. Antonio Luxardo penned the yacht’s design. Interior design is Studio Luxury Project’s job, led by Laura Pomponi, already working on another project for the same yard. MCP 37.4 is the second yacht a true-blue owner ordered from Brazilian yard MCP Yachts, specialized in steel custom yachts. it is also the third yacht stemming from the yard’s cooperation with Dutch naval architecture studio Vripack, that also gave birth to the previous 75-foot yacht of the same owner. On creating the boat, Vripack focused on the owner’s wish to spend most of his time at anchor, enjoying secluded bays and sea pleasure: the result was a relaxation-oriented layout, to make the most of conviviality, especially outside. Turkish yard Alia have officially started construction of their 52.50-metre “Sea Club”, designed together with Dutch studio Azure Yachts Design & Naval Architecture. “Sea Club” will be made of steel and alluminium; her gross tonnage won’t exceed the crucial 499 GT limit. “This new project is another glowing confirmation of our know-how and specific skills in building one-off, full custom yachts that are also designed to be fast, versatile and efficient,” says Gökhan Çelik, president of Alia Yachts.
