FAMILY and friends of the late Mina Nawe lead vocalist, Zanele Maseko aka Mazet (36), gathered at the Assembly of God Church to pay their last tribute to the fallen singer.
Mazet, who died in hospital last Sunday after suffering from a headache, was buried at the Crystal Cemetery in Benoni, Ekurhuleni, yesterday.
About 50 mourners observed the lockdown rules by wearing their musks and gloves aimed at protecting them from contracting COVID-19.
Fellow group member, Nkosinathi Mpanza, paid his last tribute with her heartfelt song titled Zanele.
Among the mourners was Speedy of Bongo Muffin and DJ Gift.
Her brother, Thabo Maseko, had previously said her sister died alone in hospital due to the lockdown restrictions.
