Ma Richmond and I are busy prepping for the arrival of the Littlest Richmonds for their annual summer holiday at ours. Last year was a riot of den-building, tea parties with Willo the Wisp (our petite, grey rescue cat) and Kung Fu Panda on repeat while wearing panda onesies (thank you, Amazon!). When we first saw the place, it was dark and drab, with an unappealing interior and rotting window frames, but we weren’t put off,’ says Holly. ‘We knew we could change the look and feel of it.
